Caye Caulker is the place to go. It has diving, snorkeling and the barrier reef is not too far. The place is relaxing, safe and affordable. If you drink, ask for the “panty ripper.” It is great!!
On the other hand, Placencia has great beaches, diving and snorkeling! The famed Cockscomb Jaguar Reserve is close by, and Monkey River is also a great day trip. Seriously, you can’t go wrong in either place.
