Is Belize Considered Part Of Latin America?
And especially since Guatemala once claimed ownership of the territory. But I do believe the people there don’t consider themselves, Hispanic/Latino? How does that work?

According to Wikipedia Belize is part of Latin America and I think that is because some would define “Latin America” as those countries in Central and South America. However, if you define Latin America as “a region of the Americas where Romance languages (i.e., those derived from Latin) – particularly Spanish and Portuguese, and variably French – are primarily spoken.” (Wikipedia) then I do not think Belize would fall into that category well. Spanish is definitely spoken here but there are whole portions of the country were it is not the primary language.
My vote would be no but there are obviously others with a different opinion.
It’s in the same general area, but it’s not really a Latin American territory. It’s a former British empire affiliate but gained independence in 1981. The official language is English. It’s in the Latin American region, but it’s not a Latin American country. It’s stuck in the middle there.

Belize is full member of the CARICOM (Caribbean Community) and full member of SICA (Central American Integration System). Beize is Caribbean and Central American.
