I Am An American Citizen, Born In Belize, However, I Want To Move To London England, Where Do I Get A Visa?
I’m planning to make some changes and wanted to see if anyone can help me in the right direction as to what the first steps should be. I would be going for the change – new beginning. Where do I go to obtain a Visa and working permit. I would need a job, etc. Let me know if you know if this is easy, manageable or really hard. Thanks for your help!
Contact your nearest British consulate for the appropriate immigration forms. You can also look to the British government’s web site. I am sure there is information there.
Immigration is based on a points system; you will need to prove you have skills that will benefit the economy. You can almost certainly get a short-term working visa but to obtain full-time residency and not being either an EU citizen or Commonwealth citizen you will need to put forward a strong case to the Home Office. Don’t let this put you off though, the UK has a rich history of immigration and if you don’t intend living off government benefits then you should be welcomed. Good luck!
you will need to have a job skill that is needed in the uk
if you don’t then you will not get through the points system.
by the way the usa is a much better place to be than the uk.
we are full thousands of immigrants everyday
and those are the ones we know about.
stay away go to canada
I think you would go to the US consulate, because the US consulate handles issues of the US citizen. If you are a Belize citizen too (by being born in the country) then maybe you would go to a Belize government office for a visa.
i think you should contact the london consulate in the US and ask them. hey you this is the first time i see a belizean on yahoo i am from belize too.
i have no idea how to get a visa but if u come to london, stay away from east london, its full of foreigners and terrorist wannabes. Trust me these guys are crazy ppl. Damn immigrants!
At the nearest UK Consulate.
