Going To Belize City For A Week, What To Do?
I’m going to Belize for a week in January 09. I bought the ticket because I got a ridiculous deal, but really know nothing about the country. Any suggestions on where to stay and what to do while Im there? It’s likely I’ll be traveling alone as a woman, so safety is important. Thanks!
They speak english there, the place is really beautifull. If you are traveling alone I would strongly suggest stay away from Guatemala.
Google Belize tourist ministry or office, that should give you info about what you can do & visit in Belize a tourist.
Belize has a few historical mayan sites!! Guatamela has more and so does Mexico but Belize has some too.
They speak English there and a lot of creole….its a great mixture of languages. Sorry, I’ve never been there but I did a whole lot of research on it a while ago because I was considering living there at the time. Please try to find the time to accurately research the country and the city life, because I think I read Belize city could be a little dangerous…I also remember reading something about the taxis…that only get in with the official ones that have a certain license plate or color…please look that up at Wikepedia.. Compare and contrast sources, and HAVE FUN!!
