If you're thinking long there you'd probably be better off renting a house, for example we are renting out a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house to a family and we are only charging $400 Belize, which is roughly around $200US...so its pretty cheap...as for citizenship, you'd probably need to be there over a year before you'll be considered...your best bet would be to contact a consulate or an embassy near you.
